From the introduction of the calculator, allowing people to put down the pencil and perform math equations “automatically,” to all the smart home devices being incorporated into everyday life in homes across the world, we expect nearly everything to perform faster and deliver goods and information more quickly and efficiently than ever.

However, the more we integrate with this new technology, the more compromised our personal information becomes.

I don’t think anybody who watches this video would sacrifice their security and safety for more convenience and better performance in their day to day life.

Luckily, with the first update, you don’t have to.

🔒⛔⚡ SECURITY AND PERFORMANCE ⚡⛔🔒

You’ll be happy to know that we’re increasing both the security AND performance of the websites within Realeflow.

We have partnered with Cloudflare, a U.S. web-infrastructure and website-security company, to host all domains used inside Realeflow.

Soon, all websites within Realeflow will no longer use HTTP as standard protocol but will, instead, use HTTPS. That one little letter makes a BIG difference.

Let me break it down for you.

HTTP stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol.

At its most basic, it allows for the communication between different systems.

It’s most commonly used to transfer data from a web server to a browser in order to allow users to view web pages. It’s the protocol that was used for basically all early websites.

HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure.

The problem with the regular HTTP protocol is that the information that flows from server to browser is not encrypted, which means it can easily be stolen.

HTTPS protocols remedy this by using an SSL (secure sockets layer) certificate.

An SSL Certificate protects your sensitive information as it travels across the world's computer networks. SSL is essential for protecting your website, even if it doesn't handle sensitive information like credit cards.

This will also create a firewall against malicious traffic that will auto-stop bots and people from trying to submit SPAM on your website opt-in-forms.

In addition to the security enhancements, you’ll now see:

🌐📧 DNS RECORDS 📧🌐

We’re giving YOU the ability to manage the Domain Records for your websites in Realeflow.

These records are referred to as your DNS information.

DNS stands for Domain Name Servers.

We have managed the domain records for our users’ websites for a very long time. Soon we will begin allowing users to access the DNS info section within their Realeflow account.

Why is this beneficial to you?

If you purchase your domain outside of Realeflow and you point the domain to us so your website displays, having access to the DNS records will allow you to add any necessary records to get your email up and running in the event that you purchase an email for your specific domain... for example joe@mydomainname.com.

If you bought a domain through GoDaddy and then got an email through Google, this will allow you to add the necessary records that Google provides to get your business email set up.

It will also allow you to add a verification record to verify that you own the domain, which is a common step when setting up an email with most email providers.

Essentially we are taking the middle man (us) out of the record updates and giving control back to the user.
